Currently I am the Access and Learning Services Librarian at Rockhurst University, a small, private, Catholic university in Kansas City, MO. My job includes but is not limited to: student wrangling, printer abusing, technology coaxing, Sierra wrassling, creative teaching, annual reporting, computer cursing, interlibrary loaning, and occasionally I drag myself away from abusing present participles to get actual work done. You can learn more about me and the work I do on my website www.elliekohler.com.
A few years ago, I fell in love with data analytics and machine learning, and as a result I will soon graduate with an MBA and a Master of Science in Business Intelligence and Analytics. I am constantly searching for ways to connect my library background with my data analytics education.
When not at work, I enjoy reading, playing pool, lying in hammocks and watching horrible television shows. I have two large dogs (pictured below) that take me for walks, one husband and an iguana. Everything else is subject to change without notice.
